My Favourite Blogs

A few weeks ago I was giving my friend Lauren a list of blogs to look at, and I thought that considering you're reading my blog right now, that might be something you guys would be interested in too. A lot of these are quite well-known, but tbh they're just the ones I read the most. That being said, I'm always looking for new blogs to read so if you have one or you've got a favourite that I haven't mentioned pls holler at me either in the comments here or on twitter.

All-Time Favourites:

I've been reading this blog since I was in high school, so for a solid 6 years, and I would actively miss it if she ever stopped. I don't know specifically why I love it so much, but it's definitely due in part to how calming and pretty it is. She has the nicest little apartment in Helsinki, and always eats hella nice salads and has really nice jumpers and overall it's just very, very nice. Hashtag aesthetic goals.

I love her. I love her so much. I don't know how is it possible for a person to be that good looking and also have a great personality but it is. I enjoy that she updates several times throughout the day, so you feel like you really get a picture of what she's doing, whether it's an outfit, a post about her business, pictures of brunch or an update on what's going on in her personal life. She also has a hella cute dog, and overall as a person I am just obsessed with her.

First of all, we know how I feel about London and if I can't be there right now something needs to fill the space. Her photos are great and she travels a lot which I very much enjoy. Also her dog reminds me of my dog and anything that reminds me of my dog is a go. Great quality photos and well written - you know that when she posts something it's going to be worth reading.

This is written by a Polish girl named Weronika and she is so pretty I don't even know what to do. I think we're basically going to see a pattern here of me just liking blogs by pretty people with nice photos who go places I want to go. She doesn't always post as often as the others, but I like the way her blog has a personal feel and again, I just like to know what pretty people are doing with their lives.

This category is made up of people I watch on youtube who also happen to have blogs, but for the most part they actually started out by blogging and moved into videos later. Victoria's blog is one that I've only been reading for a little while, but I can already say 1. great bone structure 2. great consistency 3. great content and 4. she has a literal PhD in fashion so she knows what she's talking about.

I LOVE Sammi's videos. I've been watching her since I was 17 and because of that I feel like I've watched her grow and go through a lot, so I'm quite attached. Her videos and her blog are always very aesthetically pleasing, and although her posts aren't as wordy as some of the others her personality still comes though. I'd say she's mainly focused on fashion, but there are also elements of lifestyle, travel, food and anything else she's got going on.

Anna and Lily come as a bit of a package deal. They often make videos together and post on a very similar schedule, so in keeping up with one you kind of end up keeping up with the other. I'm mostly into their blogs because I like their videos, because they do tend to be largely product-based, but on the occasions that they do a lifestyle/decor/misc post (or if I'm in the mood for a beauty blog) I enjoy the fact that they're so cleanly written and concise.

Newer Discoveries:

Oh my god if you are into Scandinavian interiors then you are in for a treat. It would also great if you're into fitness, but being me that element tends to go over my head. It's just the kind of blog that makes me want to sort my life out, purely because the photos are so nice.

I am clearly loving the Swedish fashion bloggers, but if it ain't broke don't fix it. She seems to spend at least half her time traveling, which is great because you never really know what kind of post you're going to get. Pretty photos, pretty person, pretty life. I want to go to Sweden.

I've only been following Sarah for a month or so but I am obsessed with her. Normally I'm not super into straight up fashion blogs, but for some reason I find her style really accessible, even if I wouldn't wear things exactly the same way she does. I think initially I was drawn in by the fact that she had a bunch of really nice white jumpers, and then I watched some videos on her youtube channel and it was game over. She has passed the most important test, which is that I would actually want her to be my friend. I consciously avoided socialising outside of class for pretty much the first two years of uni, so coming from me, that is saying a lot.

These obviously aren't the only blogs I read, and if you're interested in a full list just go to my bloglovin' page and you should be able to see a list of who I follow. Like I said at the start, if you've got any recommendations for me please holler because need more things to distract me from getting work done. x0

  1. What's the funniest blog you read consistently?

    1. Now that you mention it I've just realised I don't think I really read any funny blogs, I think I rely mostly on youtube for that.
