2014 In Review

January was a turbulent one, my friends.
- Started off the year in London
- Spent my birthday wandering around Covent Garden and being jolly
- Welcomed newest bear child, Arthur
- Flew back home
- Massive heat wave, luvin' life
- Had my belated birthday lunch with a Thomas The Tank Engine cake #21 #adult #lovesit
- Started an internship like a real adult
- Got broken up with half way through internship
- Cried a lot
- Went out a lot
- 'Straya Day
- Cried more
- Saw the Justin Bieber movie

In February I pulled an Eat, Pray, Love. Or Drink, Beach, Instagram.
- Kept going on the ol' internship
- Didn't really eat solids but yolo had a lot of smoothies to not pass out so we were fine
- Talked to Sussy who said 'come to Perth' so I booked my ticket and went straight from my last day at the internship to the airport
- Spent a week in Perth hanging out with my buds, going to the beach and being wholesome
- Hid ourselves away at the country house to watch the 1D movie and stare pensively at various facets of nature
- Did not swim in the river because we are not idiots anymore
- Spent Valentine's Day drinking wine and watching hot guys attack each other at a water polo tournament. It was the best of times, it was the valentimes.
- Did more drinking, beaching and instagramming.
- Spoke to Louisiana, who said I should go stay with her in Bali after Perth
- Booked my flights and flew to Denpasar
- Spent the second half of February in Bali with Lou, cruising around in monsoons, trying not to fall of the back of the bike and generally being very inebriated and picturesque. #motorcyclediaries2k14
- I also kept a little scrapbook of my Eat, Pray, Love hijinks and I haven't looked back at it yet but I feel like it would be hilarious
- We watched a lot of TV shows, particularly Dracula, The Borgias and the one with Ryan Lochte which is simultaneously the best and worst thing to ever happen
- Hella loved Bali, and this trip as a whole was probably the best thing I could have done at that point
- Also started planning Italy with George and Dan, and talking properly to Jake
- Went out a lot
- Got overly drunk with the Balinese royal family and slept on the bathroom floor
- Louisiana made me a towel pillow and checked periodically to make sure I hadn't died
- She is a wonderful friend
- Wrote a couple of songs
- Met a crocodile
- Flew home and went straight to my friend Asta's 21st where the month concluded

What even was March.
- Uni started again, which is always a laugh and a half.
- Dave came over from England on tour and we went on a scenic jaunt around Melbourne
- Saw this badass pirate ship in the Docklands
- Hung out with Calvin quite a lot
- Became even more wholesome following my Eat Pray Love and started going on walks and going to the park to think a lot because sometimes when you are very sad you have to go and listen to 5SOS in a park.
- Still wasn't eating heaps of solids but figured out there was a Boost at uni so I could get juices between classes and not die :)
- Spent time wid me old pals Tom and Edward
- Hung out with Calvin some more
- Started watching Real Housewives of Melbourne
- Met Will
- Also met Ben and Lauren and reconnected with Jack and generally allowed myself to make uni friends
- Spent a lot of time at the Rooftop Bar
- Pimm's

Oh heavens. April was a ride.
- I don't even remember the majority of April tbph witchu
- Lots of uni, presumably
- My boi A.Lester of instagram fame came over for a brief visit and we had a beautiful breakfast date
- Went on a frickin 8 hour roadtrip (each way) with my mum up to Canberra for Easter
- Stayed with my uncle and his fam
- Chilled with my small cousin and took her to see the Lego movie
- Also cried for most of Easter Sunday #whoops
- I don't even really like chocolate
- I reckon I regressed in April?
- Is that why I can't remember any of it?
- Probably :)
- I was pretty chill in March though
- I did semi start eating again though in April
- Made mum listen to the entire 1D discography, followed by Christina Aguilera and the Wicked soundtrack on that roadtrip
- She didn't enjoy it but I sure as heck did
- Was also luvin' the watermelon, as evidenced by our couples shot up there in the corner
- Started planning moving out

May was a second mini Eat, Pray, Love and the start of something beautiful.
- The majority of May was spent at uni, but I took some time off and fanged over to Perth again for a bit
- Hung out with Sussy and the gang
- Watched a lot of Disney Channel Original Movies
- Got sushi, saw indie movies, took picturesque strolls by the beach, the usual
- Visited the Freo Shipwreck Galleries' Batavia exhibition aka my childhood love
- Got really into the colour beige
- Also got a new ipad. Holler.
- Welcomed my now beloved Kanye Pants into my wardrobe and heart
- Most importantly, on one rainy night whilst sitting at a bus stop, A Version of the Truth was born.
- Stopped eating solids again and got really skinny which was great if slightly concerning
- Had a Eurovision party at Fiona's terrifying old house
- Was introduced to my song of the year 'Cheesecake'

Oh mama, June was a big one.
- Finished my second last semester of university ever
- Started packing to move out
- Jumped on a plane and went to Rome
- Spent two weeks in Rome livin' la vida loca, taking many selfies and drinking lots of coffee with Gabby
- Watched a lot of Secret Diary of a Callgirl and True Detective
- Could literally not tell you a single plot point of True Detective now
- Made friends with the guys who worked at our local cafe/restaurant/free wifi spot
- Just generally became really authentic and Roman
- Popped on my favourite train (you get to go through the Italian countryside and there's wifi r u jokin me) up to Florence
- Spent a few days wandering around on my lonesome sulking up the renaissance ambiance and ample culture

- Did not get my skin cut off so that was nice
- Went to the airport via Milan and flew to Amsterdam to meet up with some buddiez
- Did a lot of Amsterdamming
- Ate so much

July was nek level great.
- Started it off in Shlamsterdam and began my month of daily vlogs #Julyz0rs
- Had amazing mac and cheese
- Went paddleboating down the canals
- Got exceedingly merry with the gang on our last night there and spent an hour in the massage chairs at the airport the next morning to try and make myself want to die slightly less
- Made it to Berlin in one piece, didn't even vomit on anybody
- Wandered around Alexanderplatz
- Bought some new Body Shop perfumes which now smell like July to me
- Listened to nothing but About The Boy and Competition by Little Mix on repeat
- Was joined by the rest of the Europe Krew once more in Berlin and proceeded to reenact Amsterdam but amplified
- Watched the World Cup and made friends with a bachelor party at our hostel
- Went to some weird club with them and also met some hilarious Austrian guys who I now have on facebook
- Currywurst
- Stayed out all night the next night at a club on the river and then Alex and I took a morning stroll around the Berlin Wall
- You can see this all in Julyz0rs
- Had my first blueberry mojito and my life changed forever
- Flew from Berlin to Rome and was more excited than probably any other time in my life because I was about to see Dan, George and Jake
- Spent a week in Rome and Venice with my boiz, which you can see in the daily vlogs
- I can't even start going into that because I will never stop, it was amazing
- Flew from Venice to Ireland with an overnight stop in London where George and Dan hung out with Lesia and Zoe who had come to the airport to chill and Jake proceeded to fall asleep on my lap for four maybe five hours
- Had a week in Ireland which was easily one of my favourite times this year, you can see part of that in the vlogs but most of it we didn't film because we were just hanging out
- Had to leave the boys
- Listened to Mirrors by JT the whole bus ride to Dublin
- Flew home via Rome for one night
- Packed up my entire life and moved out
- Uni started again
- Watched the Italy/Ireland vlogs on repeat and said goodbye to Papa McG

August and Adulthood both start with 'A'. Coincidence? I think not.
- Started living with NeonFiona of NeonFiona fame
- Uni was a thing
- Went for excursions to the lake and took some photos that had my instagram game flyin' high
- Visited Calvin at my mumma's house
- The Birdhouse Tag
- Fiona and I had a fake Christmas to distract us from the fact that we were super depressed that we couldn't be at Summer In The City with all our friends and it was fun but we were definitely still depressed anyway
- Sussy came to visit and we had a gr8 time
- More uni
- Met a duck
- Generally got my life in order and set up the apartment
- Watched a lot of Happy Endings
- Made our first vision boards
- Spent all my money on stupid shit and couldn't afford groceries
- Mum took me to the supermarket
- Cleaned a lot
- Missed the boys

Judging by the photos I apparently spent September drinking.
- Septembz0rs happened, all of which you can watch on my second channel
- Uni was surprise surprise still going
- Had a Europe Krew reunion
- Was subsequently in rawther a bad way but u live and u learn
- Went on scenic walks
- Filmed a lot of videos
- Worked on some music
- Went to the footy as many times as I could before Essendon got eliminated
- Watched the Tim and Eric movie and Will's house and I still do not understand
- Got used to having moved out and kept my room reasonably clean I believe
- Is it evident that I don't really remember September

October was great.
- Apparently placed great emphasis on interior decoration
- Was very zen
- Went to my last ever uni class!
- The weather was very pleasant
- Had more reunion (it's not really a reunion like we all live in the same place and see each other separately but we like to have an excuse to drink) rendezvous...es... with the Europe Krew
- Made a new vision board. This was a very big event.
- Watched The Addams Family
- Tried to watch The Nightmare Before Christmas but I just don't like it tbh I just can't
- Was generally just very pleased with having finished all my classes
- Dressed up like Miranda Sings and looked absolutely breathtaking

I'm watching videos while writing this so I can't think of a tag line for November.
- Was excited for the start of the new month as per usual
- Wrote an absolute avalanche of bullshit in the form of my final uni assignments
- More assignments
- Even more assignments
- Flew over to Perth for my Granddad's 80th and to see my dad and Sussy
- Holed up in the country house
- Except when we left to get Caesar salads at the Dome
- Took a lot of scenic pictures
- Submitted my final university essay ever and ate some bread to celebrate
- Planned all of Madvent
- Convinced Will to be in a video
- Got my shit together a lot on the whole adulthood/general wellbeing front
- Chucked a bit of a devo on the 15th but then got over it because we must be a big girl, Madeleine
- Anxiety came back for a few days which was a shit time
- Then it got better again so hurray for that
- Did a juice cleanse
- Actually quite enjoyed it tbh but I only did one full day with exclusively juices because I knew if I didn't get solids after that I was probably going to attack some citizens
- Generally just had a really inappropriate amount of juice overall
- NEW 1D ALBUM CAME OUT
- Got very busy and subsequently very tired
- Started thinking about my career n whatnot more because of adulthood
- Worked on a lot of projects that maybe I'll show you at some point
- Embraced TSwizzle's 1989
- Deleted snapchat because I just do not care
- Actually got into a normal sleeping pattern
- Messed it up again

December has reflected the emotional turbulence of January. Such is life.
- Obviously not as heavy on the negative side thought because no one broke up with me this month
- I've been very, very tired most of the time
- Madvent happened
- Found out I passed university
- Drank more juice
- Started organising writing projects to work on next year
- Hung out with my normal life friends more which I am enjoying
- Got hella pumped for Christmas
- Learned a lot about time management
- Graduated!
- Bought all my presents
- Wrapped all my presents
- Chucked another little devo over Christmas and then once more got over it
- Christmas
- Put Calvin in a jazzy 'Santa Paws' shirt and boy did he look swell
- Pondered lyf
- Went to the movies more than usual which I have realised now feels like a real treat so what has my life become
- Had even more "reunion drinks" with the lads and we banned ourselves from our phones and it was actually a very enjoyable experience. Would recommend phone jenga 100% if you want to actually participate in conversation.
- Made a lot of reassessments and new plans for tha future
- Compiled this post and got very lazy towards the end
- Felt super sorry about that
- Now I need to go and fake tan because I'm going away tomorrow
- When I'm writing this New Year's Eve hasn't happened yet but I'm sure it'll be gr8
- Juice

And that's it! I got very slack at the end there and I'm sure I've forgotten a bunch of crucial factors but that's the best I've got right now so it'll do. 2014 was rough, but there was also an enormous amount of greatness so all things considered I think I'm quite happy with how it went. Regardless, I'm excited for the new year. Leggo.
