The Liebster Award

Yoohoo, happy Sunday. Gemma from In My Pair Of Shoes has picked me to answer her questions for The Liebster Award, so that is what I shall be doing. As far as I understand it's kind of a tag designed to circulate around smaller blogs where you answer questions set by the person before you, which sounds easy enough. Let's get on it, pals.

1. What’s your favourite childhood memory?
I don't actually know and I feel like that should be depressing but I think it's more just that I can't decide what counts as childhood and I'm hella old now so it's all jumbled up? Probably Margaret River or Rottnest with Sussy's family when I was maybe 5, or this time in second grade when the guy I liked ran into my friend in the playground and got a blood nose and I had to take care of him outside the nurse's office. I was well pleased about that. Always the damaged ones.

2. Of all the posts you have written until now which one are you most proud of?

I really like my TSwizzle album review and my two Monday posts so far this month as well as most of the posts I've done over on A Version of the Truth.

3. Do you prefer Summer or Winter?

Winter. I love summer, like going to the beach and having drinks in the afternoon and letting my fro be free, but Winter always comes out on top. In Australia Summer is largely lying very still in front of a fan trying not to melt, and also Summer is where the moths live, and Winter means jumpers and layering and various forms of precipitation, as well as people feeling more inclined to stay in and watch movies. All of which I am very much down for. Check back in with me after I've been properly stuck in a never ending British Winter of 3pm sunsets though, might have changed my mind.

4. What was your childhood dream?

To be a singer and a marine biologist and also own a horse.

5. What’s your most prized possession?

I have a full game plan for if there's ever a fire that includes throwing about twenty different life-or-death-important things into a blanket so I can drag them all out with me so I think it's safe to say I can not answer this question. Included in the 20, however, are my laptop, several notebooks, a large number of stuffed animals and a small glass pig.

6. Has anyone changed your life? If so how?

Pretty much everyone I've been close with in the last ten years, but outside of my immediate family the person who did the most is my ex-boyfriend because of how much I grew up and changed for the better when we were together, and again after we broke up.

7. What's your favourite food?

TGI Friday's chicken fingers, cheetos, Annie's white cheddar shells mac & cheese or watermelon.

7. If you had to pick a memory of yours to relive, which memory would it be?

I don't think I would because anything I'd choose I think I'd probably be going back to for unhealthy reasons, plus I'm very terrified of the butterfly effect so I would like to stay very much in the present. If we're talking watch completely from the outside like a pensieve though I'd go back to when I was like four just so I could see how sassy I was.

8. What's your favourite TV show?

Grand Desiiiiiigns and Made In Chelsea

9. Do you have any odd habits?  (Like always eating chicken with ketchup... that's one of mine)

Pretty much everything I do is messed up in some way and I'm sure Fiona will write a book about it one day. Currently I have a very special chart that I created for myself to keep track of my productivity and when I showed Fiona she was like "I just realised you're actually insane" and we've been living together for over six months at this point so y'all best believe the concept behind this chart is nek level batshit.

10. Are you a morning or night person?

Night. I've discovered I do really like being up early but every single time I try to fix my sleep pattern I'll get through a few days of waking up at 7 or 8 and then inevitably just end up staying awake til 4 one night and then it's back to normal. However I am intrigued to see how things change when I live in a European timezone because nowadayz I do mainly blame the fact that half my life only wakes up at 9pm.

11. If you had to change your blog name, what would it be?

I don't know and this is actually something that is causing me significant strife at the moment so holler at me if you have any good ideas. I had one that I liked but then I googled and someone else had a really similar name and it was like a pretty bleak blog tbph witchu but still v similar name so idk guys, I just dk.

Now apparently I'm meant to nominate 11 other bloggers with less than 200 followers and come up with 11 new questions, but I don't actually know if I follow that many smaller blogs so we're going to switch this up a bit. If you've got a blog, leave a comment on this post so I can go and check it out, and if you want to do this as well go and pick any 11 questions from the tag video I made which you can find here. They're pretty fantastic questions.
